Nissan as Yokohama-based car maker had given us a surprise
at the latest Detroit Auto Show this year. They surprisingly showed Nissan
Sport Sedan Concept. It cannot be denied anymore that is 2015 Nissan Maxima spy shots or the next-gen Maxima. We know that
Nissan want to be well-prepared for the newest sport sedan. It probably will be
launched and released sometime later in 2015 or early 2016 we do not exactly
know the schedule. They gave us fresh design and futuristic features including
the soft-touch cabin. Thus, it looks much different with the outgoing model
year of Maxima. The upcoming Nismo version also featured in their concept.
Exterior
According to the 2015
Nissan Maxima spy shots, this four-door sports sedan covered with Strad
Amber exterior body color. It is very modern color if you look these spy
photos. Not only paint color, we can see an exclusive floating roof which makes
our mind-blowing perfectly by its beautifulness. We predict that 21-inch
aluminum wheels would be covered the 2015 Maxima wheels. Overall of interior
design, this standard model is perfectly redesigned of 2014 Nissan Maxima.
Nissan had done with their new concept of sports sedan even though its design
is not a hundred percent would be implemented on their official released later.
Interior
2015 Nissan Maxima
spy shots showed us that the interior adopts the higher level and premium
materials in each segments inside this sport sedan. Nissan also combined the
diamond-shaped graphics on their seats. Talking about the seats, we looked
quilted leather here which makes the passengers feel comfortable in any driving
activities with this car. The result of these premium materials is to give a
luxurious and an elegant look instead of outgoing model version of maxima. Of
course the features more modern and high technology inside plus you can see a
futuristic infotainment there nesting on its dashboard and steering wheel.
Under the Hood
Actually Nissan only showed the concept of 2015 Maxima about
the engine and power details, but 2015
Nissan Maxima spy shots give us more detail what kinds of engine which
implemented under the hood of this sedan. It has a new 3.5 Liter V6 engine that
pumped out at least 300 horsepower. If we compare this engine with the current
engine of 2014 Maxima, the result is higher than before. The current engine
just produced 290 horsepower and 261 of torque, even though the engine is same
size at 3.5 liter and V6. The new one has mated with new sport-tuned Xtronic
CVT transmission.
